Hey everyone! Been awhile since I wrote here! But good thing I have some time to spare to write something!
First, for the people who aren’t into fighting games/noobs/veterans who have become rusty over the years, have you ever thought of playing competitively, FOR FREE? Well GGPO is here for ya! And I recommend Super Turbo along with it (which means Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and also ST in short, how convinient!)!!
So what is GGPO?
WABAM! There you go. You can challenge people, chat on the room, or spectate one or MULTIPLE people playing, all at the SAME TIME! Not to mention you can watch other games as well! Providing you have the games too ofcourse!
How would I play? I don’t want to invest on a arcade stick or whatever fighting game players use. I just want to try it out
SAY NO MORE! Your very own keyboard is more than enough!![]()
You can play just as competitive as pro players too!
Ofcourse with that in mind, you might want to setup your keyboard controls in this format when playing ST or fighting games in general on PC:
And if you get serious into it, you might even want to invest on a hitbox controller later on, which is similar to the keyboard already! Hitboxes are rising ATM, so they’re HOT!
Why do you want me to play Super Street Fighter II Turbo?
WELL, that’s just my personal preference to be honest! In my opinion, the game is not too over complicated, it’s easy to pick up and play, yet it has some incredible depth to it. So if you’re new to the fighting scene, this is the game that I recommend you try first. The game is STILL being discussed for over 15 years now, and tier lists have been recently updated. There’s also HDR on consoles, but I recommended this one because of the community and the discussions you can have on chat!

My felyne finished off the giadrome by himself, while I was busy setting up a trap. I was not as clever as I thought I was.

These are the three games I had to choose amongst the other games that were released this past month. Kinda wish I gotten the limited edition of Skyward Sword. I have betrayed the Zelda fan within me!! X_x
Anyways, between school, work, and personal life, I’ll do my best to get these games done. Prbly not a good idea to juggle the three awesomely awesome games, but what can I do? Out of the three, though all are my favourites, Revelations is my top. Like Old Snake, grey-haired Ezio makes being old cool and quite frankly, HOT (no homo). The overall storyline of the AC series is captivating with it’s twists that are mind-boggling. At the end of each game, you’re brain just explodes. I enjoy storylines like Metal Gear and Assassin’s Creed because it makes you question life or makes you want to do something with your life. The gameplay side to it imo is just an added effect for the story. I applaud to Konami and Ubisoft! Job well-done! =D
As for Uncharted 3, one word: shipyard, ‘Nuff said. It was MEAN, but satisfying once beaten. I won’t go on with spoilers, so I’ll just say, so far, I’m likin’ it!
Arkham City, like it’s prior game, makes beat-‘em-ups fun even for girls! The different combos between punches and weapons leaves me feeling awesome, especially reaching combo streaks of 50+. But oh, those Riddler side quests! I think I’ve spent more time collecting those than going through the actual story.
Anyways, I should be working on my presentation. I’ll rant on more when I have time. Wish me luck!
